Summer camp is right around the corner! Planning on joining us for camp? The troop is going to Camp Trexler (288 Camp Trexler Rd Kunkletown, PA 18058), Week 4 (July 16-22, 2023).

When choosing, pick sessions so that the day is filled and sessions don't overlap. So, pick one for the 9-9:50 slot or 9-10:20 slot but not both. You can also rank the order you want sessions in case there are any that are filled up. So choose 1 in AM Session 1/1X, 1 in AM Session 2/2X, etc.
If the Merit Badge session has a prerequisite listed, it would be for the Merit Badge requirement number. Example, Camping Merit Badge, I searched for "BSA Camping Merit Badge" (since I don't have book), got the PDF info and checked to see what had to be done before camp.

Fees:
- A $100 non-refundable per scout fee due before March 1, 2023. Then the scout’s total cost is $455.
- Scout registration after February 28, 2023 includes a late fee of $40, for total cost of $495. This includes the non-refundable $100 per scout fee.
- Crossover scouts have the early fee no matter when then sign up – as long as it is before June 1, 2023 payment.
- Adults are $200 for the week or $35 per day if going a partial week.
- All fees must be paid by June 1.

- Write check or send Venmo or Zelle to Troop 189 (contact Sarah Fortunato)
Before Camp:
- Let us know you plan on attending camp (you can email us via TroopTrack email and update calendar)
- Schedule and take your physical. This must be done for all Scouts and Scouters.
- Submit 2 copies of your BSA Medical Form (Part C signed by medical professional) and 2 copies of your Health Insurance card or TRICARE proof of insurance. Date of physical must be less than a year before camp.
- If applicable, Food Allergy forms need to be given 3 weeks BEFORE camp.
- Pay any remaining camp fees to the Troop.
- Fill out 2023 Summer Camp Permission Form.pdf. The exact time to meet will be set out when we get our assigned arrival timeslot from camp.
- If you don't already have one, get a Rubbermaid Action Packer Storage Container (24 gallon) for storing items that go to camp. We prefer all campers use this particular item to make packing the trailer easier. These can be found at REI, Walmart, online (i.e. Amazon), etc.
